These leaves are generally half the size of the center table top to insure the hinge closes for seamless design.

The Drop-In Center generally goes between two fixed table tops. The drop-in leaf fills the void between two cocktail tables making them into a continuous dining table.

The Drop Down Leaf Table offers leaves that lower 90 degrees and hang alongside the table. Drop Down Leaves are often used on long narrow tables where there is not enough room between the pedestal and table edge to rotate under the table top. Drop Down Leaves can be any size, limited only by the height of the table. Our Stainless Steel Drop Down Brackets acts as the hinge, leaf support, and catch when in the lower position.

The Drop-In Leaf Extension table is a traditional design with an extension leaf. The main table has a split center and slide runners to allow it to expand.
Recommended 20" or less handling and storage requires leaf expansion mechanism, housing box, table alignment pins, and latches.

The Full Hinged Top is any table with a hinged leaf that is the full size of the stationary table. When open, the hinged top doubles the size of the table. SOSS Hinges or Table Top Hinges are generally used, and leaf supports are almost always required. Cantilever and off centered pedestals are suitable options for the full hinged table top.
